West Cork collective AINM infuse elements of trip-hop, electronica and rock, creating a range of sweet and dark sounds. Their latest release, Darlin’, arrived on February 1st and marks the first single from their upcoming debut EP.

The EP began as a series of bedroom recordings, with the band tracking most of the instrumentation themselves. By chance, they later connected with one of their long-time inspirations, acclaimed artist and producer Andy Barlow — co-founder of trip-hop duo Lamb — and went on to complete the project at his studio in Brighton.

AINM have been likened by radio presenters and DJs to the likes of Massive Attack and Portishead, blending hypnotic beats and emotive melodies into immersive, cinematic soundscapes.
