Serengeti Long Walk’s original material absorbs a number of influences stretching from folk to rock with tinges of country, pop and jazz. The band comprises Clon locals Ger Duggan (vocals) and Des O’Mahony (bass), together with Ray Clifford (drums), Joe Dermody (guitar), Mick Duggan (keyboards) and Jon Heffernan (guitar). All six are active in the writing process. In 2012 the band released their first album Glimmerless. The album Wave Signs was subsequently leased in 2018. Their third album, Live At Lian Club Rome, was a recording of a 2019 concert in Rome. Their fourth collection in 2021, Wealth In The Cellar, was a trawl through the archives, bringing together remastered demos and out-takes of songs originally recorded between 2007 and 2010.

Serengeti Long Walk continue to write new material and are currently finishing a new studio album for release in late 2026.
