The Hand of Doom are a Limerick-based duo exploring spectral drones, fuzzed-out riffs, thick feedback and lo-fi electronics.

The band features prominent Limerick based musicians Steve Ryan (guitar, vox and noise) and Matthew Noone (drums, bass, electronics).

Matthew Noone, who is primarily known for his work with the North Indian sarode, also explores a diverse range of other disciplines ranging from Irish traditional music to contemporary folk, doom, electronica and electroacoustic improvisation.

Steve is the founding member and principal songwriter of seminal Irish bands Giveamanakick and Windings. . Named as one of the best guitarists working in Ireland today by www.goldenplec.com, he also works extensively in original sound design for theatre, dance performance, and film.
